Key talent retention
A new talent model was implemented in FY18 to enhance talent identification and pipelining process to better support succession planning for business critical roles. The FY19 metric has been calculated using a FY18 baseline, consisting of those members of the Enterprise Leadership Team and their direct reports who have been categorised as being Key Talent.

FY16 and FY17 Key Talent Retention calculated using the Senior Leadership Pipeline (AGL Level 12 and above) key talent co-hort.
FY18 Key Talent Retention caclulated using ELT members (excluding Executive Team members) identified as key talent per AGL's talent process in FY17 who were still employed as at end of FY18.
FY19 Key Talent Retention using employees identified as ‘key talent’ from AGL’s enterprise leadership team (ELT) and direct reports cohort.
