Employees by age
There has been a slight change in composition of the overall workforce, with an increase in representation in the 35-44 age bracket and a corresponding decrease in the 20-29 age bracket. Changes in sub-groupings reflect the impact of revised cohorts as a result of reporting system changes.
Includes fixed term, permanent full-time, and permanent part-time employees on a full time equivalent (FTE) basis as at 30 June. Excludes casuals, labour hire and contract workers.
'Senior Managers' refers to General Managers and 'Head of' functions.
In November 2018, AGL transitioned to the Workday Human Resources Information System which resulted in changed employee groupings. For FY19, employee groupings are based on AGL's management structure, which no longer includes 'Team Leaders' as a separate category.
