Total hours of training includes co-ordinated and structured in-house and outsourced vocational and leadership training but excludes other training organised by individuals or their leaders, such as attendance at training courses and conferences.

Mandatory compliance modules included: Code of Conduct, Diversity & Inclusion, Competition & Consumer Act, Health, Safety & Environment, Privacy, Managing Risk, IT – Focus on Phishing and IT – Cybersecurity.
With the introduction of AGL's new enterprise resource planning system upgrade, AGL received feedback from our people at AGL Macquarie that meeting the 30 June 2019 deadline for the 2019 mandatory compliance training modules was challenging. As a result, AGL Macquarie people were granted an extension to complete their compliance training by 24 July 2019. The completion rate of compliance training by eligible AGL employees as at 30 June 2019 was 88%. The completion rate of compliance training by eligible AGL employees as at 24 July 2019 was 98%.
